Randy, thanks for the update - I didn't know he has a second book in the works!
His first book is called "Ghost Rider", not "Masked Rider". It's a fantastic book of life, loss, grieving and personal growth. You follow him on a lonely cross-country soulsearching adventure, after the death of his family.
The guy has been through hell, and is playing the best drums of his life. I know there are some anti-peart guys out there, but I don't care who you are, you have to honor that man - if not his drumming!

Neil's first book is the "Masked Rider." It's about his bicycle ride across Africa and the relationships that develop amongst the other riders he is riding with. It's been a long time since I read it but I believe it was written befor the loss of his wife and daughter. "Ghost Rider" must be another book he has written. I'm not familiar with that one.

Ahhhh, right - sorry, I overlooked Masked Rider. The one I have is Ghost Rider. I will check out this new one. His lyrics are great too!
Infact, he has a book published of his lyrics/poetry as well, no?

I don't like Neil as a drummer, but I liked his first book and the second too. Interesting, sad travelogues about him bicycling and motorcycling. They are making movie of it (Ghost rider), I believe. Cathy Rich may have bought the rights if I heard it right.

Very interesting to say the least, V...
"you have to honor the guy - if not his drumming"
Agreed.
